I have a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Pitzer College in Claremont, CA. I then completed my master's degree in Spiritual Psychology at the University Of Santa Monica. My doctorate degree is in clinical psychology from California Graduate Institute, LA. I have written my dissertation about domestic violence and the effects of patriarchal culture.
I first started my career as a foster care social worker in 1998. I was always very passionate working with children and adults who were abused. I also worked with perpetrators and court-mandated parents. I worked for many years with individuals, children and families. I have conducted various group therapies for parents, new mothers with their babies, and pregnant and at risk teenagers.
I am multicultural and multilingual. I can provide therapy in English, Spanish, French and Turkish. I am able to converse in Italian and Portuguese as well. |
